Avida Dollars Toy Store

A collaborative project by Floppy Clock Collective, parodying consumerist culture.

Our Salvador Dali inspired toy store, 'Avida Dollars' is an anagram of Dali's name, meaning 'love for money'. This was a nickname attached to Dali by other Surrealist artists, mocking his endorsement of a capitalist career.

Today’s society is largely fuelled by consumerism, which is heightened by subtle manipulation within modern advertising.

The aim of our satirical video is to visually expose these ethically questionable advertising techniques, especially when targeted towards children.

My role within our collaboration consisted of:

Costume Designer & Maker, Script Writer, Cameraman & Director
